absolute pitch for startTrillSpan in a relative environment

Heikki Junes
Does in http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.7/Documentation/topdocs/out-www/NEWS.html
the code below

\relative c'
{
% ly snippet contents follows:
  \pitchedTrill c4\startTrillSpan fis f\stopTrillSpan

% end ly snippet
}

produce correct octave for fis ? Seems like "\startTrillSpan fis" gives absolute
pitch, "fis", but c4 and f are relative to c', thus "c'4" and "f'". Should
startTrillSpan be aware of \relative ?

See:

http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.7/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Pitched-tri
lls.html#Pitched-trills

This behavior is properly documented there.
