Re: Compiling 2.6.4 for FreeBSD

Gordon Gilbert

Hi!

I have started to work through the instructions in Vol 36, Issue 67, but
have gone to the web-site, but can't for the life of me find just the
tar.gz file to download.  Where the heck is it?  Looks like the rest of
the instructions will work just fine, but I need to find the 2.6.4 tar
file.  Help!

Hi!

I've started the install process, and run gmake install, but it quits with
the following:

gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/python'
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/python'
/bin/sh
/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/stepmake/stepmake/../bin/install-sh -c

/bin/sh
/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/stepmake/stepmake/../bin/install-sh -c
-m 644 ./out/midi.so /usr/local/share/lilypond/2.6.4/python/ &&  true
/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/stepmake/stepmake/../bin/install-sh:
./out/midi.so does not exist.
gmake[1]: *** [local-install-outfiles] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4/python'
gmake: *** [install] Error 2
[2:19:318]root@angel:/usr/ports/distfiles/lilypond-2.6.4>

Where do I find the item that does not exist?

Blessings,

Fr. Gordon+
