GSview error message

Hello list,

I cannot open a *.ps file produced with LilyPond 2.6.0-1 on Windows
XP (PDF is ok).

If you search the mailing list archives you will find that this
is a normal thing, since the LilyPond generated PS files are
somewhat special. I don't remember the details now, but it might
help to get a more recent version of Ghostscript. Anyway, I view
the PS file more as an intermediate file that's mainly used
internally by LilyPond to produce the final PDF.

Does this also mean that it no more possible to produce eps-filse
directly?
